Cylinder locks are the most common locks on modern doors, and SW Locksmith supplies, fits and changes every kind across South West London, 24 hours a day. The cylinder is the removable barrel that holds the key mechanism, so changing a cylinder is the quick, affordable way to secure a door after you move in or lose a key. Whether you have a uPVC, composite, aluminium or timber door, we carry the right cylinder locks on the van and fit them on the spot. Call us on 07383010010.

The weak point of an older euro cylinder is snapping, where an intruder breaks the barrel to reach the mechanism. It is the most common way uPVC doors are forced. The fix is an anti-snap cylinder rated to British Standard, engineered to break at a sacrificial line and keep the door secure. Upgrading a builder-grade cylinder to an anti-snap one is inexpensive and one of the best security upgrades you can make. If your uPVC handle has also gone stiff, we can sort the uPVC mechanism at the same visit.
Cylinder locks come as single cylinder, with a key one side and a thumb turn the other, or double cylinder, taking a key both sides for extra security near glass. We can also supply your cylinders keyed alike, so one key works your front and back doors. Whatever you need, we change and upgrade cylinder locks quickly and at a fair price. Call SW Locksmith on 07383010010 any time.
